it's like everyone around me has myspace! i want to know why it is so popular and why other chatting services are not. i'm thinking about getting it just to see why it is soo good, but i know my sisters will get mad and i know one of my sisters has myspace and she is 32. the way some people make myspace look is that it is a dangerous chatting place where bad men come and try and get info about you and that not all people on myspace are looking to just chat because they are bored and some are just really mean. i've looked at the website before and it encourged that idea. so what is exactly myspace all about?

There you have plenty of things to do, like watch videos (like you tube) look for new an upcoming artists, comedians have their own myspaces, plus, if your looking for a job, they have a classifieds section that is huge!

Its really everything people need to go through day by day in one neat, organized and fun place.

I am a newbie to Myspace (a friend told me its worth it) now I am telling you its worth it.

Its not a chat place, and you can set your profile to private so only ur friends can see the info about you.

You choose who you want to talk to, and you can look at their profile and stuff before deciding to.

Its not as bad as people make it, and its something else to pass the time. I have most of my friends from high school and college on their.

You can also be immensely creative with you profile, adding tons of colors and graphics, music and videos, and more. It is really kool.

It's pretty cool I guess and I've never witnessed any bad men trying to stalk me.

But some people get all addicted to it and all they care about is getting more friends and comments.

myspace is simply just a place to connect. mostly for all ages of people connecting with friends, people they work with, people they go to school with, or family. i got it a couple years back when nobody knew about it, and i agree that it's not as great as people make it out to be. i simply think it's just a self esteem boosters with comments %26amp; picture comments.

it's about the same as e-mail, just more people are using it.

Myspace is harmless if you're smart about it. NEVER agree to meet anyone you don't know pretty well, and even then take a friend, and meet in a public area with lots of people. Don't give out personal information, and basically follow myspace's guidelines for a safe myspace experience. IN short myspace is just a community for friends to catch up and find people with similar interests. I use it a lot to track down old High School buddies. Anyway, with caution myspace will be a very positive experience.

yeah, it's really popular. It's just your place in the infinite 'net that's yours. It's a webpage about you. i understand the whole predator thing. i have my page settings where only my "myspace friends" can see my page--creepy men excluded! :D Also, if someone wants to add me, they have to know my email or last name, because only your TRUE friends know that, right? but truly, myspace is fun, but i know a lot of sane, happy people who don't have one. it beats doing math, right?
