All the time you hear stories about people getting killed or something because of myspace.

There are pros and cons to myspace.

Pros-Allows people to communicate with their friends more and allows them to express themselves.

Cons-Easier to say what you think so it may cause internet fights. Also the chances of giving to much of your information and online predation.

So, what do you think about Myspace?

Its like everything else. Use it, dont abuse it!

That is: Use it wisely. Dont talk to strangers, and if you MUST, then dont give out personal information, just have general conversation. Know where the limits are before you use it.

Oh, and Myspace is not for kids - they dont understand where the limist are.

Myspace is good. People just need to use common sense! Never give too much personal information. There are a lot of predators in the world, you just need to be smart enough not to become a victim.

w/any thing like this u have to be VERY careful. even in chat rooms u can find a crazy and get killed. just dont tell any 1 where ur from or any thing like that. myspace is ok for somethings but u have to be careful cuz there is ALOT OF PORN on there. ive seen it. and u CANT get away from it. that is one of the bad things about it.

I like it, but I think that it should be used with caution. People who put their hometown, school, full name, etc. should watch out! Anoniminity is a good thing.

I think nothing of it. It is the same as Yahoo, Msn, ICQ, Blackplanet, Migenta, Facebook, and any other site. The website doesn't make a person decide to meet up with someone they don't know. It is the person making these decisions. As far as children, parents need to monitor their child's activities. There are parental controls, passwords, etc. There's no excuse.

Not good you even say youve heard them stoires so why take the risk of it happenning to you? It all heppens to the young kids whos freinds say its cool such as 12 year olds. Just dont do youll get addicted to it then get killed....... MySpace is like a disease once you get it can kill you........I had the case of MySpace once but quit cuz i had freaky people talking to me.
