so i have had a myspace profile for about 7 months and it is really cool and fun, but with all the stories and news things about how bad myspace is about online preditors, i was wondering if it is really bad to have one. if u have a myspace leave ur url and maybe we can be friends.

Myspace is a good place to keep in touch with friends, etc. Just be wary on who you add on your friend list. Make sure you know them well, and make sure it's the real person who owns that myspace. That's a good way to prevent being victims of predators. Don't entertain or respond to any strangers' mail unless you know who they are.

MySpace is what you make of it... so it CAN be a great way to keep in touch w/friends and meet new people -- IF you're smart about how much information you give out... and use a little common sense.

Myspace can be either good or bad, depends on the user. Because there are people out there that use it just for the sole purpose of being bad, and others that just simply want to stay in touch with friends and make new ones [nothing wrong with that]. Make sure you don't put up information that you don't want others to know. And be careful who you add.
