One day, at some point while I have had my myspace account, I recall that I received in one day several friendship requests that I guess were spammers. Anyway, they soon disappeared from myspace, possibly banned for spamming, but the inflated number count in my list of friends is still high. Maybe they are still in the myspace network only invisible for being banned. However, I would like the number to be corrected so that it is accurate. What can I do to get the number fixed?

I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Myspace has all kinds of problems like that. Pain in my a$$

Well, I think I would immedietly alert Myspace. *shrugs* you might need to restart your computer or even take a virus scan. I don't really know what to tell you.
