It seems like where ever you go someone has a MySpace account. People have found friends from the 6th grade that they did not see for 10 years .. people also make new friends. Some use it to network. It is even used as an instrument to encourage others.

On the other hand .. there are some perverts that are looking to meet with young kids to be sexualy immoral with them. Some have even been killed while meeting through MySpace.

Myspace is no different than a hammer or shovel. It is a tool. One that people can use, if done correctly, to their advantage and become very productive with it. On the the flip side of that it is also a tool one can use to do harm and evil with.

Think of it like alcohol, if used in the proper manner alcohol can be good for your health, but misused and it can be a detriment to your health. Myspace can be both good and bad for Christians depending upon how they choose to use it.

On a bad/good scale, I'd have to say that it's an okay site. I mean you have blockers and you don't have to give out your real name. If you know how to act with a online website than it's all good. myspace like any other thing can be used for bad or good. there is lots of bad on there and you have to watch out for it but there is also a lot of good and i have seen many christian meeting sites. christians like anyone else with morals need to be aware of the pitfalls (of which in this life there are many) and avoid them. it really comes down to maturity and self control and parental monitoring. although i do think myspace has a responsibility to monitor it too and remove any illegal sites and illegal goings on. but then that would require them to hire monitors and that would lose them money so more than likely they won't do it because in the end its all about profits.

If you dont feel like you could utilize the website without getting into porn or whatever, then don't use it. If you feel like you wont be tempted or bothered by those things, you could use it for good right? I think that there is good and bad in everything. I am a Christian and use my 360 to express myself in a "clean" manner. Yes there are a lot of perverts out there lurking, that is why even I don't ever give out my real name or location. It is wise for all to keep that PRIVATE so hopefully we can cut down if not out all of the ones that are causing havoc on others.

Anything and everything under the sun will be used by perverts. IT depends on how you use it, not the other people. I myself use it to keep in contact with my cousins, so it's a good thing. I"m also very picky about who I put on my friends list. If I don't know them, they're not on. That should be how others do it, but with it being a popularity contest sometimes, those perverts sneak in.

A good rule of thumb is don't meet anyone from online, especially alone. Always tell people who you're seeing, where, and bring a group.

it is because of the layout you have.

also in the layout code on your text(code for text)

there is probably something that looks like

line-height:7px; or some other number.

that means that it makes the space between

lines of words shorted or longer.

so in your comments, the space is shorter.

what you can do is change the number in that part

of the layout code.

but if you dont want to or too much work,

then maybe you should just get another default layout.....

It is your layout when you get a layout it sets the style your fonts are on your page if you change your layout then it will change your comments on your page. the writing changes with each layout

It's just the type of layout you have, a "tiny" layout. You can change your fonts %26amp; font sizes, as well as the space between the text, but I'd suggest you just delete your current layout code %26amp; add a new one.

Myspace email change with salute???

well i've been trying to change my email address on myspace. since i couldnt get into my old email, i had to do a salute and all of that. the link they provided to "email" customer support didn't work, so i did what they said but sent a message from my new email to customercare@myspace.com. they finally got back to me, but now i cant log in. my profile is still out there, and i tried my old info and my new info. i searched for both emails and my name, and nothing came up. this is so retarded. so do i just have to wait a few days or get a new myspace? this is pissin me off.

my myspace is set on private under account settings, but the box that says 'must know e-mail adress or last name 'is unchecked but when people try to add me it says they either have to know my email address or last name. so im going to give up on the whole private myspace thing and make mine public. but im trying to find that option and i dont know where it is!! so my question is, how do you change your private myspace to a public one?

I'm a big Myspace addict. I have alot of close friends there. But when I get bored I wander to see what's new with Myspace. So I decided to watch some Myspace videos. My last option since I checked everything. Next thing I know I'm in a category named DEATH. First I see a man commit suicide on TV. Amazed and sickened at what I am viewing I click the category to see what else is in this video section. Next a beheading of an American by Arabs. I'm so mad. Sick. Upset and in complete fury. Why do people post these things? It's not entertaining. I flagged these people. Why do people find pleasure in someone's death. Needless to say the boy who posted it was 15. I strongly believe our empathy and sympathy are developed as we mature. Often a child will do something, totally ignorant of the pain it gives to someone. Years later, as they mature and become responsible, they must also accept responsibility for the actions of their youth.

Searching on the web (one time by accident) I found some very graphic sites with photos of very severe accidents. While the thought of such pictures are revolting to me, I guess there is always a reason for things. Perhaps some young person will drive safer after seeing such pictures.

Maybe we candy coat things too much for kids, and this is their way of telling us to be honest with them. I have seen this type of trend develop amid the teens/20s of today. Maybe it is a way for them to try to realize how a person should react to such a picture.

There are many who haven't a clue on the taught good manners of years gone by. Unlike before, nobody is there to state what is expected of them, or how they should act in a certain enviroment.

MySpace profile song?

I've just gotten a new hard drive installed, so everything is great. However, there are a few graphics that I was once able to see from some of my favorite pages that I now cannot see (it shows an empty box with that infamous 'red X' in the corner)... specifically the profile song player box on my MySpace page, and also on everyone else's page I visit.

I remember when I first turned on the computer, there was a prompt to "disable add ons" in order for the (MySpace) page to load properly. I haven't a clue to as to how I can bring that window back and undo what I've disabled, and also to fix whatever problem it was in order for me to visit certain pages again (something about 'ActiveX Controls'?)

Please! Someone help, if you can? Any suggestions?
